Here is the easiest, most powerful FREE way to do keyword research right now:
The Google “Autosuggest” Method
Have you noticed that when you start typing something into Google, it automatically suggests ways to finish your sentence?
This is not random. Google is showing you these suggestions because thousands of other people have already searched for them. This is Google literally handing you a list of popular keywords!
How to do it:
- Go to https://www.google.com/search?q=Google.com.
- Type the beginning of a phrase related to your topic. For example, type: “best smartphone for…” (do not press Enter yet).
- Look at the list that drops down.
- best smartphone for seniors
- best smartphone for gaming
- best smartphone for photography under $500
These are pure gold. These are long-tail keywords that real people search for. You can write an entire article based on just one of these suggestions.
Other Free Clues:
After you search for something, scroll down the page. You will see a section called “People also ask.” These are actual questions people are asking Google.
Further down at the very bottom, you will see “Related searches.”
